Farmers Educative Programmes

The Farmers Education Program aims at raising awareness for food and farming all over the India. It encourages young people to think more deeply about sustainable agriculture, food supply and the role of science in this context. Sharing information through digital platforms and local knowledge hubs have proved an effective way of transferring knowledge on climate adaptation practices and agricultural related expertise to rural communities in India.

Many farmers in rural areas do not have the most up-to-date information on how to grow food efficiently and economically. Improving their knowledge of new techniques and technologies, in addition to providing them with any physical resources necessary for implementation, can dramatically increase the farmers’ level of productivity.

Steps taken by Human Heritage Charitable Trust towards Farmers Educative Programmes are :

  • To train or to guide with regard to the availability of training or making known the avenues to the farmers in relation to their requirement of technical skill, availability of seeds, seedlings, saplings, technique of cultivation, railing optimum yields, marketing, finance etc.,
